Everyone is telling you what to do with your future. Almost nobody is helping you figure out who you actually are.

I want to be honest with you.

The pressure you are under is real. The choices feel enormous. The advice you are getting is probably coming from people who love you — but most of it is based on what worked for them, or what sounds safe, or what the economy seems to need right now. Very little of it starts with the most important question: who are you?

I was removed from mainstream education in Grade 9. Not for behaviour — for academic failure. The system did not know how to reach me, and I did not know how to explain what was happening. A Grade 11 boy named Ari Zaganoev sat down with me and showed me something that changed the entire direction of my life: he showed me that mathematics was not a subject to be feared but a language — the language God used to build the universe. When I understood that, something shifted.

I went on to achieve a distinction in mathematics in matric. I came first in the school. Not because I suddenly became someone different — but because someone helped me see what was already there.

That is what WiseUp does. Not for me — for you.

We are not going to give you a list of careers and ask you to pick one. We are going to help you discover the things that already live in you — the gifts you did not generate yourself, the subjects that light you up, the problems you solve naturally while others struggle. And then we are going to help you build a direction that is actually yours.

You do not have to have it figured out. You just have to be willing to be honest about what you actually feel — not what you think you are supposed to say.
